Objective: The aim of this study is to identify the changes on brain magnetic resonance imaging in patients suffering from depressive disorders.

Methodology: Data and findings were taken from previous studies that have been covering brain changes demonstrated on serial magnetic resonance imaging among individuals diagnosed with major depressive disorder.
Results: Reductions in the size of the hippocampus, basal ganglia, orbital frontal cortex, prefrontal cortex, putamen, caudate nucleus, amygdala, anterior and posterior cingulate, insula and temporal lobes whereas lateral ventricles enlarged. 

Conclusion: Patients suffering from depressive disorders demonstrate significant brain changes that are apparent on magnetic resonance imaging scan but it's unknown whether these changes are causes or consequences of depressive illness.

Objectives: To explore the awareness and use of the Canadian C-spine rule (CCR) and NEXUS among physicians disposing of patients with a possible clinically significant neck injury at the emergency department of Linköping University Hospital.

Patients with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma,(DLBCL) have an increased risk to developed a second neoplasm (SN). Multiple factors has been considered at risk : age, familial history, smoking, use of alkylant agents, or etoposide at increased doses, and especially  radiotherapy. Moreover, most  of the studies  has been performed in USA and Europe countries, with a preponderance of white population. The aim of the study is analyze an large number of patients with DLBCL  in a search to define the presence of SN in an Mestizo population.

Electronic files of patients with pathological confirmed diagnosis of DLBCL, treated in our hospital between  August 1988 to December 2020 ; age > 18 years age treated, with combined chemotherapy  that were in complete response for at least 3 years.  Probably factors associated were analyzed. Median follow-u were 22.4 (range 3.1 to 31.8) years.

A total of 9316 patients were evaluated , only 16 cases (0.16% ) developed  SN. Neither of previous mentioned  risks factors  were associated to the development of a SN, only race were different, 98 % of our patients were mestizo race. Until now race has not been considered as factor to be associated with the development of  an  SN. It is the first report of this association, than apparently show that SN  are less frequent in a Mestizo  population.: thus it is appear that Mestizo race would have an protective role.

Introduction: Clinical duties are considered an integral part of nursing education because the nursing students directly interact with patients. To establish the nurse-patient relationship, it is necessary to change one's attitude and actions for professional development, which is referred to as "caring competencies. The aim of the paper was to identify the pre-clinical and post-clinical caring competencies of undergraduate nursing students.

Methodology A prospective cohort design was used to collect data from 61 students. Data was collected at two points from the nursing students through a simple random sampling technique. The data was collected through a valid and reliable adopted questionnaire that contains 3 categories, each having a seven-point Likert scale at two points in June and September 2022.

Results: In the study, men were higher (86.9%), while the age group of 18 to 21 years was in the majority (52.5%). All of the participants were in their fourth semester of their degree program. The mean score of cognitive competencies of nursing students at the second point was higher (62.5 7.6) than (48.9 8.3), and the mean score of patience at the second point was also higher (47.2 6.9) than at the first point (37.4 8.9). Similarly, the score of courage was also higher (60.1 9.0). The clinical competencies show an association with gender and GPA, but no association with gender. Conclusion: Caring competencies play a vital role. The study concluded that those students who attend clinical duties are more skillful and confidence compared to novice nursing students.
